ABOUT US- Candyland Band biographies
An accomplished player as well as teacher, Toby is one of Cleveland's finest drummers. When he's not playing in Candyland, he can also be seen around town playing with many well-known groups. He has performed with Frankie Starr, Becky Boyd, Colin Dussalt, and countless others.
Larry Kadlub has been playing guitars, bass, and singing in Cleveland area bands for years. More recently, since '99, Larry had been playing as a solo performer with the acoustic guitar. He loves to play and sing, whether it be on stage or in the living room, and will always accommodate a willing audience with a song. He's very excited about Candyland, and also spends time playing in acoustic and country rock projects. "I like the diversity of playing different instruments, different music with all musicians".
Candice has been singing all her life, and began playing and singing professionally with Larry Kane Rockin' Rhythm in 2005. She is a gifted songwriter, and published artist and has sung the National Anthem for a president.
Bob began playing bass in his junior high orchestra at age thirteen. He attended the Cleveland Institute of Music, Baldwin Wallace College and Cleveland State University. He started his professional music career as a pit musician in musical theater and has played at The Cleveland Playhouse, The Front Row, The Palace, The State, The Ohio and Hannah Theaters in Cleveland. He has performed with numerous well known artists and was Tony Orlando’s bass player in Branson MO during the 1997-98 season. He still pursues his love of classical music and can be seen performing locally with the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra and the Oberlin Arts and Sciences Orchestra as well as many of Cleveland’s finest jazz performers.
